This type of the forstner bit is designed for drilling precise and clean holes in natural wood.

Included diameters: 15 + 20 + 25 + 30 + 35 mm

Design:

• The tool is made out of alloy tool steel
• The forstner bit is equipped with a pilot bit  ensuring precise drilling, two circumferential cutting edges and two main cutting edges
• Round or hexagonal shank
• The blade with teeth reduces friction between the forstner bit and the drilled material and reduces heating.

Used for:

• Drilling precise and clean holes, not too deep, in the wood
• Drilling holes for countersinking furniture fittings

Used in: hard and soft wood

Note:

• for extremely hard wood, as well as for chipboard and coated boards, it is better to use machine forstner bits with carbide tip (ordering No. 4231).
• Some diameters of forstner bits are manufactured in inch dimensions, for which the stated dimension in mm is only approximate. A tolerance of +/- 2% must be taken into account.
