Pilot bits VARIANT for drilling star
This pilot bit is an essential part of the VARIANT drilling set if its main drilling part is a Star.
The drill ensures the correct guidance of the Star into the material.
- Suitable for drilling in corners, at an angle or in uneven material.
Pay attention to the correct procedure for mounting the drill assembly:
- Before mounting, clean the threads on the individual components of the assembly and, if necessary, spread a thin layer of VARIANT grease.
- Screw the pilot bit into the screw thread as far as it will go, then screw the thread of the pilot bit into the VARIANT screw. Then tighten the star to the auger.
- Make sure that the starfish and the auger do not act as a lock nut on the pilot bit.
Do not confuse with the VARIANT pilot bit designed for a hollow hammer core bit VARIANT.
